Training requirements

Dangerous-Goods-RegulationsAll personnel involved in the transportation of dangerous goods by all means of transport should attend specific training courses. Initially, a general awareness course should be followed by all new employees, while a function-specific course tailored made to the duties and responsibilities of each personnel should be undertaken at regular intervals. Furthermore, all personnel should be appropriate trained in safety procedures and in case of transportation of high consequence dangerous goods, all personnel should follow a security training course. Finally, all drivers should attend the necessary training course before sitting the exams for the ADR driving license. 

Training courses

General awareness

Familiarization with the general requirements of the provisions for the carriage of dangerous goods.

Function-specific training

Duties and responsibilities in the requirements of the regulations concerning the carriage of dangerous goods.

Safety training

Awareness of the safe handling and emergency response procedures, commensurate with the risk of exposure in the event of a release and the functions performed.

Security training

Familiarization with the security plan, the nature of security risks, recognizing security risks, methods to address and reduce risks and actions to be taken in the event of a security breach.

ADR driving license

Basic training, carriage in tanks, carriage of explosive substances and articles, carriage of radioactive material.

General awareness

We provide the necessary initial training course for all personnel involved in the transportation of dangerous goods. This training course aims to the familiarization with the general requirements of the provisions for the carriage of dangerous goods and includes the following modules
  • Labelling, marking, placarding and packing requirements
  • Stowage, segregation and compatibility provisions
  • Transport documents (multimodal form, certificates, etc.)
  • Description of emergency response documents

Function-specific training

Depending on the mode of transport, all personnel should undertake one or more function-specific training courses regarding the transportation of dangerous goods. According to safety and other obligations, different duties and responsibilities are assigned to all participants in dangerous goods transportation activities. Security training

We provide security training for all personnel involved in the transportation of high consequence dangerous goods. The training and the refresher training include all elements of security awareness. The modules of the training course include:

Security-Personnel

ADR driving licence

In our training network, we deliver specific courses for the acquisition of ADR driving licence. Candidate drivers should select one or more of the four provided ADR driving training courses (with the basic course being mandatory) in order to be eligible for sitting the exams and awarded the ADR driving licence.
